my favourite season...

The autumnal equinox is here! It is officially autumn.

The fall season is by far my favourite season.

I love walking amongst the rust coloured leaves.

I love the crisp and slight chill in the air.

All my coats, scarves & gloves can finally come out of hiding.

Dresses can be worn with tights without looking foolish.
My giant cups of tea, extra hot, will be even more perfect and more comforting.

With the exception of English Peas and Asparagus in the spring,

this is my favourite season for food. 

Squashes, root vegetables, cauliflower, sprouts, grapes, pomegranates,

the warm spices, the warm desserts, the warm drinks.

There is definitely a lot of great food to be eaten.

Let's just hope I can still fit into my coats once I do.
