face stuffing via instagram...

I've been missing in action for a while and sadly I have no good excuse for being so.
Yes... I'm a student and I was studying part of the time.
Yes... I have responsibilities and I somewhat kept up with it.
But to be perfectly honest, I've been busy doing nothing...
contrary to what I envisioned this November to be.
I've basically put everything I can off until the end of the month.
Which is very, very soon.

So this means trouble is brewing...
Because, ultimately, that means December is going to be one manic month.
I have final exams, my cousin visiting from Toronto, lots of packing,
flying to Chicago for Christmas, and last minute holiday planning for the new year.

So apart from me confessing that I've been super lazy,
all I've done is take pictures and post it on instagram...
Which I'm now gonna share if you'll bear with me.
Posted below are some of the many things I've stuffed my face with this month.

From top left to bottom right:
~ bananas foster french toast ~ brie, bread & strawberry jam (my mid afternoon snack) ~
~ cappucino with raw vanilla sugar ~ caprese salad ~ lovely eton mess ~ lentil tabbouleh salad ~
~ made up stir fried noodles ~ crisp polenta with sun dried tomato & rocket goat cheese salad ~
~ glazed brussel sprouts with morrels ~ steaming cup of hot chai tea ~

my perfect little spot...

Lately I've been spending lots of time on my bed.
Writing, reading, sleeping, snacking, planning, dreaming, you name it...
Basically, I spend as much time as possible on this perfect comfy rectangular piece of furniture.
Taking night classes, I spend the days lounging in bed with the dogs, a cuppa always in hand.
As you can see from the picture below, I have the perfect view of the wooden fencing.
This really ought to frustrate me more, but just by looking up, I can see trees, clouds, & sky.
Which when you are lying down in bed, is your automatic view anyway.
I was always weary of having my bed by the window.
But the novelty of being able to look out whenever I want and have the light streaming in,
has just been a glorious & inspiring experience.
I don't think I've ever loved my bedroom more than I do right now....
