I've been a fan of Eva Cassidy since her rendition of
Over the Rainbow gained popularity years ago.
Though I never got the chance to meet her,
I have no doubt that she has a beautiful soul.
She possesses one of the most honest voices I have ever heard.
Having read as much as I can about her,
her story both tragic and beautiful,
I can't help but feel connected to her somehow.

her story both tragic and beautiful,
I can't help but feel connected to her somehow.
If I listen intently to her songs, I can't help but weep.
Which leads me to this raincheck...
I was listening to her and I did weep.
So while I gather myself and wipe the tears off my face,
I need a rain check on that post.
I need a rain check on that post.
I'm afraid this video of her will have to do...
til I'm emotionally strong enough to attempt writing more about her:
